Welcome to Silver Leaf Thread Work — I'm so glad you're here.
My love affair with quilting started over 25 years ago, thanks to a good friend who dragged me in and never let me leave. (Best thing she ever did, honestly.) What began as a creative outlet has grown into a full-blown passion — and eventually, a longarm quilting business right here in Frederick, MD. There's something deeply satisfying about taking a quilt top that someone has lovingly pieced together and giving it the finishing touch it deserves.
A Little More About Me
When I'm not behind the longarm machine, you'll probably find me planning my next adventure — travel is one of my favorite ways to recharge and find fresh inspiration. At home, I'm kept very busy by my two dogs: Camden, my pocket pitty, and Adley, my German Shepherd/Husky mix. Yes, their names are a bit of a giveaway — I'm a proud and passionate Baltimore Orioles fan. ⚾
I'm also deeply involved with a local rescue dog organization, where I foster and transport dogs on their journey to their forever homes. It's equal parts rewarding and heartwarming — with just a touch of controlled chaos.
Before launching Silver Leaf Thread Work, I spent my career at a nonprofit dedicated to building resiliency in Gulf Coast communities — meaningful work that taught me a lot about care, precision, and showing up for people. I'd like to think I bring that same spirit to every quilt that comes through my studio.

My style leans modern and geometric, and I'm a little obsessed with dense quilting that adds that gorgeous, squishy texture to your patchwork.
